Conversion Restrictions

1. Only ONE copy of your material can be made.

2. In the case of vinyl, only limited cleaning of the
disc can be performed. If there are a couple of
obvious pops/clicks, they can be removed from
the digitized version. Background hiss cannot
be removed because it is not only time-
consuming but compromises the sound
of everything else. "Crackle", usually from
embedded dust, can also not be removed
without compromising the overall sound.
Jumps cannot be fixed.

3. If music on a cassette is being converted, "best
guesses" will be made on where the tracks
are to be separated, unless it is clearly indicated
to convert the whole side "as is".
If full programs, such as from the radio, are
on the cassette, their length should be indicated clearly.
